I’m still struggling with the fact that for years the number one kid’s TV show encouraged impressionable children to drop out of school and take up professional poaching. Red was 11-years-old when Professor Oak handed him a living weapon and sent him out into the wilderness to fend for himself. It’s not surprising he lacks the maturity and perspective to move past the destructive grudge he’s maintained against his former childhood rival, Scrotum Oak.
