The rise of the Internet gave people a space to share their opinions with the world. How do you separate the wheat from the chaff?

Welcome back to Topical Tuesday! Every Tuesday we ask our community a question related to that week’s magazine topic. Our goal is to begin an intelligent discussion based on a topic that’s uniquely relevant to us as gamers and to the industry we love.

In this week’s issue we take a hard look at the state of game reviews. Which reviews are the best? What rating system is the most efficient? Do you listen to your friends over a revered critic? The answer to any and all of these questions is subjective. However, with the internet has come a swarm of webpages, blogs and self-proclaimed professionals who have taken it upon themselves to tell you what they think, whether you like it or not. This brings us to this week’s Topical Tuesday:

Please feel free to use this week’s content as source material for your argument.

Ladies and Gentlemen, to your keyboards and discuss!
