Megan Fox finally gets to take the action hero leading spot for herself as leader of a mercenary squad whose mission to rescue a politician’s daughter from guerrilla terrorists in Africa finds them taking shelter in an abandoned poachers’ compound — where both the heroes and their pursuers soon discover that the area is being stalked by a vicious, hungry, and extremely angry female lion. Rogue is a combination military/monster movie from the director of Solomon Kane and Deathwatch that Bob Chipman says is better than it has any right being.
