The true genius of Rust is how little information it gives its players. On a good server (IE, one without death readouts and hackers), forging alliances and managing your own reputation are key. Kill a player while he’s awake and he’ll be told who took the shot. Kill him in his sleep and he’ll be none the wiser. That, to quote one of my Twitter followers, is Lannister as fuck.
