Microsoft’s steadfast refusal to give journalists a straight answer regarding the Xbox One features that actually matter has led to a much-deserved PR meltdown. Rumors that the Xbox 360 successor would be pulling some anti-used game bullshit started long before the console was announced. Rather than confront those rumors on its own terms, Microsoft has elected to remain silent and let them fester and grow into full-fledged PR movements for the opposing team. To be clear, Sony hasn’t stated its plans either, but its done a far better job of dodging the question.
