So it occurred to me quite late in the day that since Cory was away fraternizing with you nerd-types at the Escapist Expo he wouldn’t be around to provide 90% of the talent that goes into Critical Miss. Luckily, I was already working on a project with Blue Rose artist, Henry Huang. Today’s strip is a prototype page for a comic pitch we’ve been working on called Have Minions, Will Travel, a dark action/comedy that follows the trials and tribulations of a collection of second-rate and/or unfairly maligned game villains. We’re still in the trying stuff out phase – if Critical Miss has taught me anything it’s to avoid jumping into projects till the ideas behind them are fully developed – but nothing beats actually producing strips for ironing out the kinks.
