Microsoft’s Xbox 360 price cuts in Europe resulted in a 40 percent sales boost over the weekend, according to Chart-Track.
The measurement was over a very small period, from when the price cut was implemented on Friday to midnight Saturday.

Whether the good news holds for Microsoft is crucial as Sony prepares bundles for Gran Turismo 5: Prologue Edition and, for June, Metal Gear Solid 4.
