A two-player version of Virtual Fighter 5 will be fully-playable within Yakuza 6.
In the latest “games within games” news, a fully-playable version of Virtual Fighter 5 will be contained within Yakuza 6. Additionally, a new “Live chat” feature will let your player chat up cam girls. It’s just like real life!
Both of these features are a part of the game’s “Play spots”. Play Spots are the side activities offered within each Yakuza game, and can be likened to going bowling with your cousin Roman in GTA. Sony had the following to say about the two new activities:
Virtual Fighter 5: Final Showdown – You can now play the latest version of Virtual Fighter 5 on PlayStation 4. There is a two-player mode, too.
Live Chat – A new play spot available in the Internet Cafe. By carrying out precise button presses in response to your conversation with the web girl, the conversation will get more and more exciting.
“More and more exciting” is a very… tactful way of explaining what cam girls do as the show goes on.
Other play spot activities include darts, karaoke and Mahjong, as well as a revamped version of the Cabaret Club, which has evolved into a strategic card game.
