Allen Krause: Alright, this is for a game that was on the PS2 or XBOX original, though I'm leaning towards the PS2. It was a First Person Shooter, you were some sort of agent and the game started with your guy waking up in a lab of some kind. I remember that the game was really revolutionary at the time because you could see your legs and when you picked up sodas or candy bars for recovery, you had to physically eat or drink the item on screen instead of just a "*bing* health up" type thing. There may have been a fellow female agent with you as well. I'm sorry but this vague memory is all I have to go on.
And it's NOT Cold Winter.
You might be talking about "Breakdown", for xbox.
Wow. Amazing. That was like the vaguest description ever and you totally found it. Thanks a ton, man.
I cant think of this game i played a looooong time ago, i can some what describe it but not in great detail, it was on the Super Nintendo and all i can remember is that you were a young man and end up in this small box that whent to another deminsion and when you came out your people where turned to stone and you whent on a quest and one of the items you can get is some claws that allow you to climb up certain walls.
I've been thinking about this game a lot recently.
It was for Sega Saturn, you slowly walked around a big mansion, there wasn't much action. It more more of an atmospheric sort of game, I can remember it giving me the creeps as a kid!

Sounds like Alone in the Dark to me. Very influential game, it essentially invented the survival horror genre as we know it. Resident Evil was basically Alone in the Dark, but with zombies instead of Lovecraftian monsters.
Hi guys! I've been looking for a PC-game for a while now and hope you can help me - although there's not much I remember. I don't know if it was a download-file or a CD, but it was on Windows 95. You played as a little red creature with big yellow eyes (I think that creature wore a light blue hat / cap). That creature had to pass a maze-like level and collect some things (for extra points...but I don't even remember what those things were) on the way to the goal. Yeah, that's it.... As I said, not much information at all, but I hope someone here knows what I'm talking about (-;
OKAY so I'm looking for this game thats been in the back of my mind for years
from what i remember, the cover of the game has a brunette female holding a gun with a chainsaw attached to it, wearing a cyber punk spiky metal armour kind of like the stuff you'd see in fallout 3 only more futuristic
its a 3rd person shooter and adventure game, you start off around some secluded training grounds where you talk to different people before moving off its definitely a 90s game from what i remember theres 1 specific cut scene that i recall where she's walking through a village or town saving people from demons attacking and theres a really horrifying mutulated demon that walks past and looks at her
i remember playing the game on my old MAC, I'm pretty sure that i also had MDK around the same time that i had this game, and that it might have been imported / he brought it back from overseas?
I cannot begin to describe how much it has bothered me that I can't remember more of this game, hopefully you guys will have more luck.
This was either original gameboy or gameboy color, I don't remember most of it but i know it was a puzzle-esque platformer, sidescroller I think but I am very unsure about that, and you had to fight monsters to reach the top floor of a tower or maybe the bottom floor of a dungeon. There were these snake monsters on one floor and there was some kinda boss at the top/bottom floor which was either the 50th or 100th. This isn't azure dreams or a dragon warrior game, you couldn't keep the monsters I don't think or get eggs or anything. Also it took place only in the tower I think, I don't believe you leave for anything.
I remember playing an old rpg game with the main character being a wizard. He had I think blond/yellow hair and had to do quests to help villages that were in need of aid (think it were goblins and such that were the bad guys that you could fire your wand on). He got the quests from a talking bird, a crow or a raven.
It was in 2D but more modern than DOS games. It was a story you followed from beginning to the end (ok, I understand this will define almost every game...).
I also remember that there was an option that u could turn off the roof graphics of houses when u were in a village so that u could look in the houses.
I remember 1 image where the wizard ran on wooden hangbridge, where if he walked over some sort of item he got a speedbuff (I think...?).
Its all very vague and am guessing it must be more than 10 years old, played with Win 95 or 98 perhaps.
Oh and I think in the end the talking crow transformed in a human/wizard...
Thx for the help!
Oh, I just found it bij strolling over a random website describing another game, but with a wizard who had the same name, Cornelius. This triggered some of my old synapses. The game I was looking for is called Magic and Mayhem, awesome game!
This had to be the early 90s because I just remember bits of it and I could never pass it lol. So it's this little guy and all I remember is that he always has a harmonica and has to play it to open doors or something. Maybe he's trying to save like a princess or something. But I could never pass a part with a door made of ice and I would have to go back. That's all I remember.
If anyone remembers this game, let me know. I would really like to pass it once in for all lol :")
Well i might as well try to. I've beeb looking for a game i played when i was younger. If my memory is correct the story takes place on 3 different planets, the first onne with dinosauurs, even thoguh this could be very off. In one of the cutscenes (i think it's the intro) There are a bunch of people at some weird planet, or place or something, i think they are in some kind flying vehicles. Then suddenly alot monster that looks like huge carnivorous plants start attacking them, one guy get's in his flying vehicle i think, and starts to kill some of the monster, to help the others. Then i think one of the monsters get him, and all the other other people just flee from the planet, instead of helping him, and then i think for the rest of the game he wants revenge, and in the end he is in a big robot, and you kill him. Please reply if you have any idea about what this game is, i would be very thankfull :)
There is this game for the ps1 Im pretty sure. I played it late 90's early 2000's but it was about a group of people that were in a house or a mansion and there were zombies and other creatures that would attack you. A couple examples: when you walk into a room there was a man feasting on another person. If you walked into this hallway there was a giant spider and if you ever tried to leave the house there would be dogs or wolves that would kill you. Please help me. Anything would help thanks!
I've been looking for a game not sure if it's for NES or SNES but it's for one of these used to fight with my brother over it I'm worried it may've been a rare game I can't remember its name off n on over the years i've thought about it had a cat girl characater and wizard character and some other characters but i'm not sure if you could select which to play used potions an stuff may've been a side scroller rpg ( not certain ) was around 1998-1999-2000 game I feel it started with an A, B, T, L, W, or some letter lol covers about all letters D: anyways, it was all cutesy to a degree I remember the images very well D: I think it had puzzles in it too >.< hmm I have no idea xD that's all I can really remember If I'd not had to fight over it to play it I would probably remember more ( greedy little brother e.e )

The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time? Although the guy from this game doesn't play a harmonica, but an ocarina. And he uses it for more things than just opening doors. But maybe it's the game you're looking for (-:

Umm.. That's Age of Empires to me. either 1 or 2. Or maybe seetlers? But you didn't control your villagers directly.
I have specific request for a game. My friend told me that she was looking for game that she was playing in late 90's on a PC. But she told me that it was platformer with "old" graphic, so it could be anything made even in late 80's. As far she could remember, she told me that in that platformer you were a dino or dragon, and you were climbing up the tower or something, and at the end of the level you had to climb to ladder in a well to complete the level. or something like that, I know it is confusing, but any help will be apprecieated. Thanks in advance :)
I can't remeber a game I have played with my bother when we were young, so the game is fot PS1 and in it you have to build a village, city and so one with blocks, and when you build something it says "excellent" or "good" or "amazeing" and so on and the you like help people thet live there or whatever. Game is based on that you "shoot" blocks from the bottom of the screen upwards and combine that blocks to make biger houses and so on, i hope someone knows that game!
Hello every1! I am trying to remember a game i think it was on ps2? The game is in some kind of jungle and itīs all pitch dark because of some black goo that have consumed all of the light. Excellent, this thread exists! Ok, I need help with this. Basically, I used to play a DOS game, back in the late 90's. Sidescrolling (not isometric) helicopter game, set in the desert, and you shot people who fired back with RPG's. I can't remember if you had to rescue people, like Choplifter, but I can tell you that wasn't it, though it is similar. And ideas?
Okay, so can someone please help me!! OLD PC FLASH GAME There was this game that I could've sworn used to be on ebaum's world, but perhaps I was mistaken. Anyways, this is all I can remember; You were clicking and dragging these purple, round, kinda fluffy looking, alien things and trying to feed them and raise them and breed them. The objective was to fight any danger you had come your way, keep them happy and upgrade them so they can be stronger and help rebuild their spaceship. I believe you had "100 days" to do it, but I cannot quite remember. If someone could please help me find this game I would greatly appreciate it.

Isn't they're anybody who have an idea about this? :)
Aristoth: I've recently tried to recall an old spaceship/starship game for the PC myself. I believe it was a shareware deal, but there was a full version as well. I will do my best to piece together some of the things I remember.
The demo limited the styles of ships you could be, but I do recall your ship flying in from the bottom of the screen up close to the top and back down to land on a pad below where a female computer would talk to you briefly before you set out.
Once set out you flew around much like the style of Asteroids, in which you could in fact destroy asteroids, but you also collected gas tanks and actual icons for programs you had on your computer. So, much like the icons sitting on your desktop, except they'd be floating around in space for you to collect as a sort of "currency." If you shot at them, they'd begin to crack or be destroyed if too much damage was done to them.
There were other NPC space ships that would fly around and request help to kill asteroids and such, stating "I could use some help!" or contrary, "Hey, watch it!" if you shot at them. All the way to "I'm gonna get you!" if you harassed them too much. These were all vocal responses. Sometimes police ships would come out if you killed too many NPC players. I remember one being called "The Enforcer"
You could also access an upgrade station, granted I forget how, where your ship would land on a platform while you selected weapons and such from a list that cost money. You could even go into debt if you bought too much. Here you could also repair your ship if you took too much damage. When taking too much damage, you lost the left side of your ship, I.E. a wing, then the other side, sort of leaving you with this small center section.
I don't know if this enough information to help, but for the life of me I cannot remember the name nor can I find it on the net through the tidbits of info I have. Hopefully one of the minds out in the digital world can help me out on this.
Thank you kindly!
Hi!
I really loved that game too and was just looking for its name when I found your post. I'm not sure if you've found the name already (and this is a very long topic so I didn't have time to check every page)... but, since you've only posted twice on the site and didn't mention it, I decided to reply.
I recently re-discovered it. It was a fighting game on the PS1. It looked like an anime. The uniqueness of this is that each of the 10 characters had their "TV series" as they went through the other 9 plus a doppelganger of themselves. And this game was called.

It could also be Empire Earth... which is basically Age of Empires 3D.
I'm looking for a game, it looks and plays like a lot like Earthworm Jim, but you start out in a haunted mansion with several different monsters attacking you and you're working your way to the top of the house. The main character might have had a rooster head.
NinjaSquidFace: After searching about 30 pages of this thread for answers I found nothing and became jealous of all these people finding their games! So, I decided to post my memories.
All of the games I'm looking for were on PC. When I was 5-10 (1998 - 2003) My dad used to always get those collection discs with about 10-100 demos on them, and I'd play them all and loved them. I remember some of the names of them (the games but not the discs), but there's two that I can't find online.
1. It was a game you viewed from first person, and I remember it having good graphics, and it was mysterious. I'm pretty certain it was a point and click adventure viewed from first person. It had 3D graphics (definitely not cartoon), although the graphics only APPEARED 3D, it was probably just images, because I'm pretty sure it faded between images instead of you moving. I'm pretty sure it was modern, but it had a sort of fantasy feel to it. The ONLY gameplay I remember of it is sort of exploring down this path through what I remember as a forest, and going down this tunnel in a tree or hole or something, looking for clues. I've checked so many point and click adventures online and I can't find it (although I'm worried I won't even know it if I see it). It could have been Myst, but I don't remember any of the graphics by looking at videos of that game. Schizm doesn't look like it either, those two are similar to what I remember though.
2. Another first person point and click adventure, about a dog escaping his owner's room. I remember his owner leaving for the day and he leaves you at home (although that could be wrong), and you have to find a way to escape. I remember the name being "Dog's day out" because I remember thinking the name sounded much alike "Baby's day out". But after searching the title "Dog's day out" I've found nothing.
3. (Extra) I wonder if anyone knows the name of the demo discs I played if I give titles of demos on them, I had about 4 or 5 discs in total with about 20 demos on each :( so many games I don't know the names of. Warcraft II, Torruk II (I'm not entirely sure), DOOM, Diablo (All though I remember Diablo having cars in it.. lol), Lemmings Paintball (I'm not sure if this came from a demo disc but I played the game at the same time brackets), Jedi Knight, Jump 'n' Bump, Wheels, The Neverhood, Rayman.. Damn that's all I got.. I don't think all of the games were demos though, I just remember calling them demos.
Sorry for the massive post, and thank you for any help. I'll try to help out others.
Edit: I also very vaguely remember this other game, it was like a really weird game about a picnic, but you sortof blow up the picnic blanket with the food, and it turns into weird shapes.. It was very weird haha
I've been looking for this game for YEARS, but because of my vague memories it's pretty tough.
So I played this game about 17 years ago, it was one of the two first games i had on ps1. It's a fighting game with a campaign mode, full 3D. All I remember is that one of the guys you could selects to play with was fighting using a broom or sweeping-brush, something like that. Also I THINK the first missions was like on a roof-top or something...
Any insight into the title of the game would be greatly appreciated!
"it was a side scrolling platformer/adventure game, kind of like castlevania, I recall you could pick from a few classes (ones I recall were warrior and mage, although there might have been more). The levels had bosses at the end of each, if i'm not mistaken, they were usually satanic-like. the first level i believe was around a mountain with some lava.
Platform side-scrolling game with warrior, wizard and maybe someone else - check Experience gain or something like that - check First level in cave filled with lava like BOV - NO
Please help? Or I'm really mistaken and that game was BOV...? (this... can't... be... :'()
