Your ultimate guide to Jinx in 2XKO: moveset, combos, counters, and more

There was never going to be a League of Legends fighting game without Jinx. It would be like a Street Fighter without Ryu, or a Super Smash Bros. game without enough Fire Emblem characters to form a Polyphonic Spree tribute band.

Jinx might be dollar store Harley Quinn, but she’s also a bankable face, especially after Arcane. As such, she’s in 2XKO and is a damn good Champion to boot. People who are new to fighting game fans might want to start with someone else, at least until they learn the ropes, as Jinx’s moveset can be tricky to master.

The Escapist recaps

  • Jinx is a League of Legends character who is now a playable Champion in 2XKO.
  • Jinx uses a mix of ranged weapons and traps, including rockets that cover the screen, ground-hopping robots, and a Gatling gun that can rotate to hit foes in the air.
  • Jinx isn’t unlocked from the start – you need Champion Tokens to unlock her.
  • There are Arcane skins in the game, but these are premium items tied to an expensive edition of 2XKO

Jinx primarily fights from afar with guns, while using traps to punish anyone who gets too close. The trade-off is her poor speed and maximum health, meaning that she’s in real trouble if the enemy gets near, and needs to rely on assists to survive.

Jinx has some tools that help her keep away from the enemy (mostly Fishbones, Hop!), so she’s not totally defenseless when opponents get close. Her traps are intended to punish foes who rush in blindly, so don’t be afraid to spam them.

Specials

  • Pow Pow Up-Up! (Back + S1) – Jinx whips out a Gatling gun to perform an anti-air blast of bullets.
  • Fishbones, Hop! (Forward) (Down Forward + S2) – Jinx blasts the ground, sending her flying forward into the air.
  • Fishbones (S2) – Jinx fires a rocket at the enemy. It can also be used in the air.
  • Flame Chompers! (Forward + S1) – Jinx drops a hopping trap on the ground, which moves forward, attaches itself to the enemy, and will explode.
  • Fly Clappy, Fly (Down + S1) – Jinx creates a flying robot that moves towards the enemy and explodes.

Change of Plans (Down + S1 after using Fly Clappy, Fly) – Change the direction of the robot.

  • Pow Pow P-Pow! (S1 + Direction) – Jinx fires a spray of bullets from her Gatling gun. Holding up after pressing S1 will change the direction of the bullets.
  • Zap! (Backward + S2) – Jinx fires an energy blast from her pistol. This is tied to its own Zapper meter.
  • Fishbones, Hop! (Backward) (Down Backwards + S2) – Jinx fires a blast at her feet, harming enemies and sending her flying backwards.

Unique Moves

  • Sliding! (Down Forward + L) – Jinx slides forward as part of a low attack.
  • Watch This! (Back + H)  – Jinx does a flip kick that pushes both her and her opponent backward.
  • Watch Your Feet! (Forward + M) – Jinx rushes forward and does a low attack with her pistol.
  • Watch Your Head! (Down Forward + H) – Jinx performs a slow overhead attack with an axe.

Supers

  • P’Choo Bang Pew Boom Boom (Costs 1 Meter) (S1 + L/M/H) – Jinx fires a rocket/firework into the sky, obliterating foes at close range or who are in the air.
  • Zaaapp! (Costs 1 Meter) (S2 + L/M/H) – Jinx fires a Kamehameha-style beam from her gun. This can be used on the ground or in the air.

Ultimate

  • Super Mega Death Rocket Monkey Cannon! (Costs 3 Meter) (S1 + S2) – Jinx rushes off to a tank, which fires a massive rocket that lands in front of her, dealing massive damage.

Assists

  • Flame Chompers Assist (T) – Jinx appears and tosses a Flame Chompers on the ground, which moves towards the enemy.
  • Fishbone Assist (Backward + T) – Jinx fires a rocket at the enemy from across the screen.
  • Tons of Fishbones Assist (Down + T) – Jinx fires multiple rockets at the enemy. This move is only available if Assist is KO’d.

Best Jinx team in 2XKO

Jinx needs teammates who can protect her from enemies and go toe-to-toe with them, especially if she needs to duck out for a bit and heal.

As such, Vi and Braum are two excellent teammates for Jinx to join up with. Vi is her opposite, with incredible ground offensive speed and a love of getting up close and personal with her foes. Braum is a defensive wall who can jump in to protect allies and absorb hits with his Specials.

Similar to Vi, Warwick is also a good choice of teammate for Jinx. His weak approach often curbs his aggressive style, so Jinx can provide the cover he needs (via Assists) to get next to the enemy and start unleashing the hurt.

Jinx requires distance to survive, with raining projectiles and keepaway gimmicks being her primary tools. There are a few Champions who can get around this, making them ideal counterpicks for Jinx.

Ekko: His speed, acrobatic approach, and ability to interact with his afterimage can make Ekko really annoying for Jinx players. His tricky movement pattern makes him the perfect rushdown option against a ranged character.

Yasuo: His Wind Wall neutralizes projectiles, letting him blast through some of the nastiest pieces of Jinx’s toolkit. Jinx players who love using her rockets will have a hard time surviving against Yasuo’s sword skills.

When is 2XKO leaving early access?

2XKO’s full launch is scheduled for January 20, 2026.

What platforms will 2XKO launch on?

2XKO is coming to PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.

Yes. These are available as part of the Ultra Arcane Starter Bundle, which costs $99.99. It’s not cheap to look like Jinx in Arcane

Fighting game fans should have no problem getting to grips with her long-ranged combat. People new to the genre should probably try someone else first, like Vi or Darius, before moving over to Jinx.
