Ubisoft Forward E3 2021 trailer: Far Cry 6 Season Pass DLC will let players play as villains Vaas Montenegro, Pagan Min, & Joseph Seed.

Far Cry 6 DLC Features Iconic Franchise Villains as Playable Characters

The Far Cry 6 Season Pass DLC will take players on a journey through the minds of the series’s most iconic villains. As revealed during the E3 2021 Ubisoft Forward, Far Cry 3’s Vaas Montenegro, Far Cry 4’s Pagan Min, and Far Cry 5’s Joseph Seed take center stage in their own DLC episodes as playable characters, giving players a glimpse into the psyche of some of gaming’s most notorious characters. Better yet, Ubisoft confirmed that each character’s original actor has returned to play the foes once more.

In the description box of the announcement trailer, the publisher offers a brief summary of what you can expect from the Far Cry 6 season pass: “Delve into these iconic villain’s twisted minds, uncover their backstories, battle their inner demons, and reunite with familiar faces. All of this in a new Far Cry gameplay experience in which you will have to die… and retry. Can you escape the mind of a villain?”

How the villain DLC content will play into the greater Far Cry 6 story is unclear, but it seems as though the season pass events take place in some sort of dream sequence. Still, this should be a good way to reunite players that fell in love with Vaas, Pagan, and Joseph. Plus, as an added bonus, purchasing the season pass grants access to Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon – Classic Edition. See the announcement trailer from Ubisoft Forward below.

Far Cry 6 launches on Oct. 7 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S.
