Klei’s Spy Game Incognita Changes Disguise, Now Invisible, Inc.

Don’t make a mess; you’ll annoy the cleaner.

Remember Incognita, the cunning turn-based spy game that Klei’s making? Well you can forget it; the name, anyway, since this covert operation’s changed its title to Invisible, Inc.. But it’s still as sneaky as ever, and if you want to preorder your Top Secret WNINTEL goodness, Klei’s got you covered.

“After some focus testing, Invisible, Inc. was better received than the old Incognita,” says Klei. “Our focus of the design does not change in that it will still be a game of turn based tactical espionage.” Preorder – at $19.99, if you want game plus soundtrack, or $16.99 if you just want the game – gets you a Steam key, but you can only preorder through Klei right now. Special note for the soundtrack purchasers: the music isn’t available right now. Tracks will be released during development.

Some interesting details have slipped through the intel net. Non-lethal runs will get you more credit than massacring your way to the objective. What’s more, your agency will charge you 100 bucks each time you off someone, as it sends in a cleaner to erase the evidence.

Invisible, Inc. is PC only, though Klei does say other platforms are being considered.
