A demo for the upcoming America’s Army: True Soldiers for the Xbox 360 has been released on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
Powered by the Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 engine, the demo will allow up to 16 players to take part in a dynamic co-op mission against an occupied village or an 8-on-8 “Squad Engagement” match. The demo weighs in at 525 MB, and is currently only available to gamers in the U.S.
Along with intense multiplayer action and the high-tech toys found in the U.S. Army’s real-life arsenal, the Xbox 360 version of the hit franchise will also include staples such as achievements, leaderboards and bonus materials. An “honor token” system will also offer players the chance to win prizes for going above and beyond the call of duty.
While the PC version of the game remains available free of charge, the Xbox 360 release of the Official U.S. Army Game will cost $59.95. More information is available at the America’s Army: True Soldiers game detail page.
