Disney Delivering TRON RUN/r to Consoles Next Month

Going back to The Grid.

Disney Games has confirmed new platforms, pricing and a release date for TRON RUN/r which, as you might have guessed from the title, is a “runner” style game set in the neon-drenched digital world of TRON. Available since December on PC through Steam Early Access, the final release will also find its way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

RUN/r will feature 30 levels of play across two styles of play. “RUNNER” mode puts the player on foot, able to perform parkour stunts and engage in disc combat, while “CYCLE” mode presents lightcycle driving stages. A third gameplay mode will offer challenging remixes of levels in an endless form.

Early Access reviews of the game on Steam have been generally positive, with the majority of criticism owing to the small amount of content available in the beta release. The currently available PC version has 9 playable levels, with three being lightcycle stages. It is currently available for $9.99. The full game is set to launch on all platforms February 16, when it will sell for $19.99.
