Evil West Extended #2 Gameplay Trailer Delivers 13 Minutes of Vampire-Slaying Action

Evil West Gameplay Trailer Delivers 13 Minutes of Vampire-Slaying Action

Evil West developer Flying Wild Hog has promised that its vampire-hunting action game would deliver brutal action in a Red Dead Redemption-like Western setting, and it has now released a 13-minute extended gameplay trailer showcasing just that. The lengthy video highlights combat not unlike what God of War (2018) fans are familiar with, as the cowboy hero can be seen using magnetized punches to snap to enemies and then juggle them in the air in glorious fashion. Instead of wielding Kratos’ heavy Leviathan Axe, players will use a punchy six-shooter, rifle, an electrified grappling tool, and more.

When the new Evil West extended gameplay trailer isn’t showing how players can paint the battlefield with the blood of vampiric enemies, it’s showing its world and characters. Then there’s also a good look at a boss fight with a giant bat enemy. For a better look at what the Wild West would have been like if it suffered a vampire invasion, you can watch the full video below.

Publisher Focus Entertainment and Flying Wild Hog delayed the title last month, pushing its release date out by two more months. Now, you can get your hands on Evil West when it comes to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S on November 22, 2022. For more about the game, we previewed it at PAX East.
