Hearthstone: The Grand Tournament Arrives Next Week

Ready to shake up your Hearthstone decks with The Grand Tournament cards? Good – because Blizzard is launching it on Monday.

We’ve seen the first glimpse of Hearthstone‘s new expansion, discussed out its new Inspire and Joust mechanic, and even studied all 132 new cards. Now we’re well past the point of waiting patiently. When can we play The Grand Tournament already? According to a new post from Blizzard, very soon: Hearthstone: The Grand Tournament launches in American and European regions on Monday, Aug. 24, with Asia following the next day.

Once the update is live, players will be able to buy The Grand Tournament card packs via Hearthstone‘s in-game shop. Arena mode will also be updated to reward Classic, Goblins Vs. Gnomes, and The Grand Tournament packs at random. Of course, the expansion’s 50 pack pre-purchase bundle will no longer be available starting Monday – making this your last chance to snag a sizable starting collection.

In the meantime, you can start dreaming up new decks and getting ready for battles to come.
