The Escapist is looking for a talented graphic designer to join our in-house team.
We’re looking for a self-motivated, cutting edge graphic designer who’s always pushing the envelope. This position is best suited for a candidate who can take direction, but also has the necessary conceptual skills and design chops to work autonomously. On any given day, you might come in and have a brainstorming session for the next best feature for the site. After that you head to your desk and whip up branding for a new video series premiering later that week. Then it’s off to a meeting with the sales manager to discuss an upcoming ad campaign that needs its own mini website and takeover site skin. You leave the meeting and begin working up some concepts while giving feedback to another team member’s work over email. Before calling it a day you knock out a request for last minute grid art going up on the site that evening. Joining our fast-paced, challenging environment will encourage you to grow in new and rewarding directions. It’s demanding, but the reward are ample: The range of projects you’ll attack, and the freedom you’ll be given to develop them will keep your creative energies flowing.
