LittleBigPlanet 3’s developers have compiled the ten most creative levels of the game’s beta into one adorable video.
LittleBigPlanet 3 isn’t even out yet, and creative players have already gone to town making levels in its beta. The developers have compiled some of the best fan-made creations made in just two weeks in this video, which gives an idea of the versatility and creativity allowed by LBP3‘s level-building tools. It also provides another look at the new characters in action, showing what their unique abilities can bring to gameplay.
While seeing the Castlevania classic Symphony of the Night recreated in LittleBigPlanet 3 is a highlight, there are plenty of other standouts: the perspective-changing Tower of Swoop, the fast-paced Oddsock Derby, and the atmospheric Magical Castle, to name a few. It’s impressive that beta testers have accomplished so much in such a short span of time, given how challenging and time-consuming it can be to master LBP‘s level-building.
LittleBigPlanet 3 launches on the PS3 and PS4 on November 18. The previous games in the series had thriving communities that were constantly publishing new fan-made levels; if this video is any indication, LBP3 will continue that trend for the Sony-exclusive franchise.
