The Lost Crown, an adventure/horror game, is due out this week.
The Lost Crown: A Ghost-Hunting Adventure, by Got Game Entertainment, makes use of E.V.P. (Electronic Voice Phenomena) recordings from beyond the grave to build suspense.
The game puts you in the role of ghost hunters Nigel Danvers and Lucy Reubans as they investigate spectral doings along England’s fog-shrouded coastline. The game is described as “suspense-adventure” and will be set in a world of “part black and white, part vivid color.” To add to the creepy mode, The Lost Crown promises to offer up actual ghostly voice recordings as part of the experience.
Also being thrown into the mix by the game’s developer, Jonathan Boakes, are “photographs of unexplained entities” he captured while researching for the storyline. Players will be faced with puzzles, interactions with 3-D characters and what looks to be a scary soundtrack.
