A hot new Trackmania 2 “Canyon” trailer shows off an awesome new environment in the world’s most over-the-top racing game.
No, Trackmania is not a realistic racing simulator by any stretch of the imagination. Even normal arcade racers look a bit dull and flat in comparison; if anything, it’s an exaggerated physics game with cars. It’s also stupid amounts of pure fun, so after sinking countless hours into the various past Trackmania releases – Original, Sunrise, Nations, United and their expansions – this trailer has me really excited about the long-awaited Trackmania 2.
TM2 was actually unveiled back in September 2009 at the Paris Game Festival, but I haven’t heard a thing about it since. Fortunately, it appears that the gang at Nadeo hasn’t been pulling a Valve, because this Canyon trailer looks seriously hot. Hot, I tells ya! No release date has been set but more information about Trackmania 2 is expected to be revealed at E3 in June.
