The Outer Worlds

You can play The Outer Worlds 2 early! (If you pay money)

The Outer Worlds 2 has been popping off, with gamers getting quite ravenous to get their hands on it after seeing so many positive reviews. Well, there’s good and bad news.

The Outer Worlds 2 is set to release on October 29th, but you can play it five days early if you have some extra cash for Obsidian Entertainment. C’mon, it can’t take down Bethesda on its own.

I have the money in hand. How do I play The Outer Worlds 2 early?

If you’re fine paying some moolah, you can play The Outer Worlds 2 tomorrow, October 24th!

All you have to do is buy the Premium Edition of The Outer Worlds 2. This version is $100, which is $30 more than the standard game. As a fan of the first one, I’m a bit tempted. I’ve heard The Outer Worlds 2 is an improvement on the first one’s formula, even allowing its companions to murder you if they think you’re a dick.

But I’m cheap, so October 29th it is. However, Premium Edition enjoyers will also get:

  • Five days of early access starting on Oct. 24
  • Digital Artbook & Soundtrack
  • Corporate Appreciation Premium Pack
  • Commander Zane’s Battle Pack
  • DLC Pass (includes free access to two future story expansions)

Convinced?

And bad news for Xbox players (as if y’all needed more unfortunate money-related events). The version you’ll get on the Game Pass does not include Premium Edition, meaning you won’t be able to play it early. You’ll need to pay the $100 like the rest of us (on top of your increased membership, of course).

So, in conclusion, pay $100 and you can play The Outer Worlds 2 early. Let me know if it was worth it.
