Rental company NumbThumb heals its financial wounds and closes doors.
Online game rental site and potential hand disorder NumbThumb emailed customers with the headline “Exciting News from NumbThumb.com”. After four years of service, NumbThumb will be closing all customer accounts on July 5 and is asking for all rented titles to be returned by the 15th. In return, users were offered a 44 percent discount with competitor and industry leader Gamefly and a free magazine subscription.
