Raid Mysterious Shores in Piratical Style

The water in Kartuga looks nice enough to swim in and, if you’re not careful, you’ll do just that.

InnoGames, the Germany-based folks who focus on free-to-play games, have a piratical themed PvP game you may want to take a closer look at. Kartuga wants you to raid mysterious temple-strewn shores, and travel to the far distant East, but try not to get sunk; it’s a long swim home.

Protectors, Destroyers and Engineers can work together to defeat opponents. It’s pretty much exactly how it sounds; Engineers buff and heal, Destroyers leap in with the big guns, and Protectors eat up damage as well as dish it out. It’s in closed beta at the moment, but the developer is keen to get this one up and running as soon as it can.

If you’re a sucker for all things pirate – guilty as charged, m’lord – this may well suck you in for a few sun-soaked hours. Coming soon is the most InnoGames is prepared to say about Kartuga‘s launch date, so don’t buy your jaunty tricorn hat just yet.
