Leveling up in Roblox Beaks is an important part of progressing through the game. It’s also a grind, anyway you look at it. To help ease the grind and give you a sense of direction, we made this Roblox Beaks Leveling Guide.

How to Level Up Fast in Roblox Beaks

Before we tell you the process of how you should level up and what you should do on certain levels, here are some general tips about leveling:
- Capture any bird you see (even the less valuable ones) – Even if you’re looking for rare birds, nothing is stopping you from taking out the less valuable ones. So, don’t ignore the small fry; capture them too. In the end, it’s all just extra XP and money.
- Level in an area until you can afford the most expensive gun – this is a great way to know when you’re ready for the next zone. You don’t necessarily need to buy all the guns (we will tell you which ones you should pick up), but once you’re able to afford the most expensive one, it’s time you consider moving to the next zone
- Don’t buy darts until you get the best gun in the game – even with the new Darts rework, there’s still very little point in getting darts. Sure, you get more of them, and they are less expensive, but considering how many bullets you need to capture some birds, they still don’t seem worth it.
- Try to do quests along the way – we’ll let you know when you should pick up quests along during this guide. Essentially, this is all just extra XP and money.

And the most important tip we can give you for leveling fast is:
- Level up in your own private server – right now, hosting your own Beaks private server is completely free, and you should definitely take advantage of this. In Beaks, other players can seriously get in your way and steal the more valuable birds you’re aiming for. Certain areas in Beaks are flooded with players that birds don’t even spawn in. Playing on your own server means not having to deal with any of these problems.
Roblox Beaks Progression Guide
Down below, we’ll list where you should level and what you should do during the leveling process in each zone in Beaks. If you aren’t sure about which quests you need to do, check out our All Roblox Beaks Quests Guide.
Beakwoods (Levels 1 – 10)

When you start playing, the first thing you should do is complete the Tutorial Quest with Benny Beaks (3 out of 4 quests in total). This will teach you the basics of how the general loop of the game works. When you finish the first three, the fourth quest will ask you to buy the new Hunter’s Rifle from the Gunsmith. You likely won’t have enough money at that point, so while you work on that quest, you should finish the rest of them in Beakwoods. While you farm for money, finish Jimmy’s three quests, which will get you familiar with rare birds and bird mutations. Finally, all that’s left to do is Moon’s Quest, which tasks you with completing the Beakwoods bestiary. If, after all these quests you still don’t have enough to afford the Hunter’s Rifle, just shoot a few more birds and sell them until you have enough (1,500 Coins). With your Hunter’s Rifle, simply level up to 10 (if you aren’t already) and you’ll be ready to move to the next zone, Quill Lake.
Quill Lake (Levels 1 – 20)

Currently, Quill Lake is a very popular farming spot, and there’s a good chance you’ll see a lot of players standing on the piers of Quill Lake while the lake itself barely has any birds. If this happens to you, we advise you to host your own private server so you can actually capture some birds here.
When you first arrive, you should grab a couple of Quests at once:
- Star’s first quest (Lake Birds)
- Laken’s only quest (Garden of Eden)
- Vito’s first quest (and the rest that come up in the chain)
What’s great about all of these is that you can make progress just by capturing birds in the lake. The Lake Birds quest has you complete the bestiary, Garden of Eden tasks you with capturing Mossy and Cherry mutated birds, and you’ll likely complete all Vito’s quests naturally, along the way.
Something we don’t advise doing is Star’s second quest (The Wishing Well, where you have to draw the Bio-Luminous fish from the Wishing Well) because it’s completely RNG, and there isn’t even an award for it.
Unfortunately, by the time you finish all of these quests, you likely won’t be level 20, nor have enough to afford the best gun at Quill Lake (Lakeborn Rifle, you should also skip the Lakeborn Shotgun). So, just stand on the pier and gun down a bit more birds. Try to focus on Flamingos, Great Egrets, and Pelicans because they are worth a lot of money and XP. Again, this can take a while if you have other players around you, so if this happens to you, remember that you can host a private server for free.
Once you are level 20, you can move to the next area: Mountain Beaks.
Mountain Beaks (Levels 20-30)

Mountain Beaks is a little annoying to level at. In fact, many players seem to prefer leveling back at Quill Lake and skipping it entirely. Still, we think you should at least complete the Mountain Beaks Bestiary and grab the Mt. Beaks Long-Rifle before you move back to Quill Lake. There are also a few quests here, but unfortunately, as of writing this, some of them are bugged.
Alex’s first two quests, “Eye on the Skies” and “A Small Ask!” are fine, but the third quest, “Spot gold in the sky!” can’t be completed, so keep that in mind.
Another annoying factor about Mountain Beaks is that most birds there fly really high in the sky, especially the more valuable ones like the Red Tailed Hawk (super annoying and super fast). Fortunately, after you acquire the Long-Rifle, things should get a bit easier, but if you’re still having trouble gunning the birds, consider moving back to Quill Lake until you hit level 30. After that, move on to the next, and final zone: Deadlands.
Deadlands (Levels 30 – 40+)

Deadlands is very much an in-development zone. There’s only one working quest, many of the bestiary birds are still missing, but it’s still a good place to earn XP, money, and the best gun currently in the game.
You can do Striker’s only quest (Striker’s Quest), and you should try to fill out the Deadlands bestiary and grind a bit to afford the Deadlands Long-Rifle. Once you have both of these done, you’ve pretty much completed everything there currently is in Beaks. You can continue to level up if you want, and maybe even try to experiment with Darts. Other than that, it never hurts to get a few extra levels so you can be ready for the next update.
That’s all there is to it. Have fun leveling in Roblox Beaks. If you haven’t already, check out our Roblox Beaks codes for some cool in-game freebies.
