Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us wins Amazon’s Video Game Fan Favorite poll for 2013 raking in almost half of the total votes.
Over on its Facebook page, online retail giant Amazon has revealed the results of its “Video Games Fan Favorites of 2013” poll, and Naughty Dog’s third-person action adventure game, The Last of Us didn’t just win, it dominated the competition by amassing almost half of all votes cast.
Listed below are the top ten games that made the cut, which are represented in the pie chart courtesy of Amazon.
The Last of Us
Grand Theft Auto V
BioShock Infinite
Super Mario 3D World
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
Tomb Raider
Fire Emblem: Awakening
Battlefield 4
If I hadn’t seen the chart, I would never have guessed that The Last of Us would have this big of a lead against BioShock Infinite and Grand Theft Auto V. But based on the chart, it seems Amazon users really loved Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic game.
In other The Last of Us news, a character in the game has made its way into GLAAD’s list of “most intriguing new LGBT characters of 2013.” If you’ve played the game past its halfway point, you will, of course, know which character the list is referring to.
Do you agree with what Amazon users picked as their top game of 2013? If not, which game should have won?
