A new puzzle game called TiQal will be hitting the Xbox Live Arcade on Wednesday.
In the game, players must save the village of TiQal by matching colored squares to demolish enemy blocks, building them up to unleash special combos and power-ups. Easy to learn but difficult to master, the game features ancient Mayan-inspired graphics in 120 levels of gameplay, and will also let gamers pair up for two-player action in either co-op or head-to-head gameplay. An impressive musical score rounds out the package.
TiQal was developed by Slapdash Games, founded in 2007 by former employees of MumboJumbo. The game is rated E (Everyone) by the ESRB and will be available at 9 a.m. on March 26 for 800 Microsoft Points. More information is available at Xbox.com.
