Xbox Live Arcade will be updated with Omega Five and Tron on Wednesday.
Microsoft has billed Omega Five as “a graphically explosive next-generation shooter” that features “the highest quality visuals available” for an Arcade shooter.
Players can join up to play local co-op, ramp up the difficulty level and beat unlockable characters.
The game will cost 800 MS Points and is rated E10+.
Also on the way is Tron, an arcade classic that was updated several years ago in a PC release that was looked upon favorably in critical reviews.
This iteration will offer the original game and a version with improved graphics, sound and two-person multiplayer in co-op and versus modes. Microsoft is touting it as “perfect re-creation of the original game.”
It will cost 400 MS Points and is rated E.
