Darksiders Genesis Brings Exciting Action with a New Perspective – Review in 3 Minutes

Recommended Videos

Darksiders Genesis is an isometric hack-and-slash action game developed by Airship Syndicate and published by THQ Nordic. Genesis is a prequel to the other Darksiders games and introduces Strife, the fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse, as a playable character. The demon king Lucifer has begun to disturb the balance of power in Hell, and the Council has tasked Strife and his brother War to uncover Lucifer’s plot and put a stop to his scheme.

The game is recognizably Darksiders. From its tight, responsive combat to its challenging puzzles and memorable characters, this is a must-play for veteran fans of the franchise. There’s plenty for newcomers to enjoy as well, though the story will resonate a bit more with those familiar with the previous games. Darksiders Genesis is available now on Steam for $29.99 and Google Stadia for $39.99 and will release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on February 14, 2020.
