Witness the Cruelty of the Mailman Who Doesn’t Have Diablo

It’s the best Diablo-III-mailman Western you’ll see all day.

Diablo III hasn’t been having the smoothest launch, but amidst all the Error 37s and Error 3006s and all of us who are actually logged in and playing the game just fine, we forget a small yet beleaguered section of the gaming populace: Those whose copies haven’t come yet.

In this short film, a gamer deals with the despair of an empty mailbox where there should rightfully be a copy of Diablo III. Then the mailman shows up, and … okay, I’m not going to spoil what happens, but it’s straight out of The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. It may actually be a reference to a specific Western – I’m not sure! I’m sure someone will let me know in the comments.

If you’re one of the gamers out there who still has an empty mailbox, cheer up. By the time your game comes, the servers will probably be stable so you can actually play it.

I never thought I would ever use the words “Diablo III,” “mailman” and “Western” in the same sentence before. And yet.
