The Game Awards to Feature an Exclusive “New Look” at Zelda: Breath of the Wild

New Breath of the Wild footage confirmed for Thursday.

New footage for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will air this Thursday night, December 1, during The Game Awards.

The announcement was made on Twitter in a pair of posts, one from The Game Awards and one from Nintendo, promising an “exclusive look” at the upcoming game, which is set to release on both the Wii U and the Nintendo Switch.

Breath of the Wild does not yet have a release date, and while it had long been rumored to be a Nintendo Switch launch title, sources have recently indicated that will not be the case.

The Game Awards will air this Thursday at 9pm ET. You can check out the full list of nominees here (sans Pokemon Uranium and AM2R, which were removed for reasons we dare not speculate on).
