The Mandalorian season 3 teaser trailer Lucasfilm Disney+ Star Wars Mandalorian no more

The Mandalorian Season 3 Trailer Declares He’s a Mandalorian No More

At D23, Lucasfilm premiered the teaser trailer for The Mandalorian season 3, which will see a release date sometime in February 2023 on Disney+. True to its name as a teaser, the season 3 trailer for The Mandalorian doesn’t get too specific with the story. However, Din Djarin does apparently get told that he’s a Mandalorian no more because he removed his helmet. (Are there cameras constantly rolling to let people know who is or isn’t wearing their helmet?) So Mando and Grogu are effectively a “clan of two” now.

Beyond that, there is lots of action, lots of explosions, and lots of literal fireworks. Greef Karga appears several times, looking utterly suave in his outfit as Carl Weathers should. Bo-Katan Kryze also features, apparently offering some philosophical pushback against Djarin’s way of life. Moff Gideon is confirmed to be returning as well. But perhaps most amusingly of all, there is a tree full of Kowakian monkey-lizards, the species to which Salacious Crumb belonged. If Lucasfilm is going to fully invest itself in random spinoff series, it should probably make a series about the gang of Kowakians in that tree.

D23 has provided other slick trailers from Lucasfilm today, including a new trailer for the political intrigue-soaked Andor and the magical Willow sequel series.
