Legendary to Get Multi-Platform Summer Release

Gamecock has announced that Legendary, a new FPS in development by Spark Unlimited, will be available this summer for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Featuring hordes of mythological beasts rampaging through the modern world, Legendary puts players in the role of art thief Charles Deckard, who steals and then opens the mythical Pandora’s Box. With an all-out war against the creatures of legend erupting around him, Deckard, as the man who unleashed the cataclysm, is the only one who can contain it and save the world from destruction.

“I’m happy to report that the team on Legendary is well on target for a simultaneous multi-platform launch this summer,” said Gamecock Console Chief Rick Stults. “It’s no easy feat to pull this off on a game of this caliber, but Spark Unlimited is a talented group.”

Spark Unlimited CEO Craig Allen added, “This is the project we want to be working on and it’s shaping up to be something amazing. Legendary is the type of game we want every gamer, regardless of system allegiance, to get the chance to play. We’re taking our time to ensure optimum performance, regardless of platform.”
