EA Mobile announced the release of seven new titles today, five for mobile phones and two for the iPod.

Now available for mobile phones are The Sims 2 Castaway, The Sims Pool, Monopoly Here & Now, Yahtzee Adventures (not our Yahtzee, but the dice game), all available on wireless carriers across North America, and Merv Griffin’s Crosswords, currently available only on Verizon Wireless. iPod owners will now have access to Scrabble and (not our) Yahtzee; both games are available via iTunes, but Scrabble is currently accessible only in the U.S. and Canada.

“EA Mobile continues to create and distribute games that compel potential customers to download and play games on mobile devices,” said EA Mobile Worldwide Studios Vice President Travis Boatman. “The wide range of handsets, from everyday devices to sophisticated 3G phones, and the iPod, provide great platforms that foster and satisfy consumer demand for anytime entertainment.”

More information about the newest additions to EA’s mobile gaming studio, including carrier availability and pricing, can be found at www.eamobile.com.
