College professor Michael Abbott has successfully introduced Portal into the curriculum at Wabash College. The course is designed to acquaint students with “fundamental questions of humanity.” Portal will be studied alongside Erving Goffman’s “Presentation of Self in Everyday Life,” a book that compares one’s self to a theatrical production, where the truth is hidden offstage. What other games should be included in school curriculum? What courses would they be taught in and what could we learn from them?
