Simpsons Porn Parody Induces Vomiting

Porn parodies have gone too far now that they’ve finally reached Springfield.

The Batman XXX porn parody of 2010 became popular not only because of its subject matter, but for its surprising level of faithfulness to the 1960s Batman television show it was based on. Hustler’s latest attempt to jump on the bandwagon is Simpsons: The XXX Parody, and it shows that the porn parody genre has gone way too far.

Batman XXX at least had a semblance of integrity, so that even hardcore comic book fans were potentially able to justify its existence. It was followed by other superhero parodies like Superman XXX and Justice League XXX, and sure, they seemed like a natural progression. The Simpsons as a work of porn just makes me want to vomit.

It’s not just that the trailer shown here is, in my humble opinion, not so great, but that apparently all of popular “geek” culture is now up for grabs by pornographers trying to jump on a fad. How about a Transformers porn parody? G.I. Joe? He-Man? Alf??

I have nothing against porn, but aside from perhaps Batman XXX, it has a way of disgracing its source material. It seems like pretty soon everything we know and love will be broken down to 3 minutes of terrible dialogue followed by 30 minutes of adult behavior. Are videogames next? Will the popularity of a Grand Theft Auto XXX eventually lead to Katamari Damacy XXX?

If I seem a little too up in arms about the situation, you must not have pressed play on the Simpsons XXX trailer yet. God help us.
