If the Jedi, Sith and Galactic Empire had logos and slogans, they might look like this.
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away – oh, come on, you know the story by now: Little Jedi Jesus gets rescued from a desert world, has an extremely poorly written love affair with a queen, has kids, turns evil, gets defeated by his kids and then turns good again and dies.
One thing that the Star Wars universe doesn’t have, however, is clever branding with attractive logos and snappy slogans. Graphic artist Barn Bocock of How to Carve Roast Unicorn wanted to change this, and reimagined modern corporate logos to include elements from that great sci-fi fantasy adventure.
I think my personal favorite might be MasterYoda – “Judge me by my credit limit, do you?” – but I have to admit, the Empire has pretty slick brand work. Maybe I’ll support the Dark Side just a bit … you can do that, right?
