Tyrant Studios starts with a seven-member roster from some of gaming’s biggest franchises.

Stemming from the minds of Halo: Combat Evolved Lead Designer Hardy LeBel and Battlefield 2: Modern Combat Lead Designer Anders Hejdenberg, Seattle-based Tyrant Studios has opened and is currently negotiating with publishers for its first orginal title. Tyrant’s team currently consists of seven members with experience in producing high-profile titles, including the Halo franchise, Battlefield, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, Crimson Skies and Midnight Club.

“We’re excited to announce the formation of Tyrant and share our vision for the future of game development. Our first project is the result of months of preproduction and planning – and with our collected experience, we believe we’ll change the way games are made,” elaborated LeBel, Tyrant’s Executive Producer.

Lead Designer Hejdenberg added, “It has been fantastic to see the results of bringing together such a passionate, creative, and highly motivated team of this caliber. We’ve managed to create a concept that we believe will become a trendsetter – not only in games, but in mainstream media culture as well.”
