Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Live Action Trailer Features Michael Phelps

It’s time for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare to get its live action trailer, and it features Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps.

Live-action trailers for Call of Duty games have become a thing in recent years, so it should be no surprise that Activision has rolled out a new one for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. This time around, you’ll see Olympic gold medal-winning swimmer Michael Phelps and actor Danny McBride.

The trailer kicks off with plenty of people taking a look around at 2016 and deciding to go to space instead (and honestly, can you blame them?). This is followed by plenty of explosions, gunfire, and some game-specific items, including anti-gravity grenades and grapples. Phelps makes his appearance pinned behind cover, where he starts up his now-famous warm-up routine waving his arms back and forth. He then bursts from cover only to find that McBride has already dropped all the enemies himself.

The trailer has the same slightly-goofy aesthetic of previous live-action CoD trailers, and whether or not you’re excited for the game, it’s a fun couple of minutes.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is set to release on November 4 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
