Capcom’s XBLA Games Stuffed on to One Disk

The Capcom Digital Collection nixes the ‘digital distribution’ bit and collects eight XBLA titles, including the HD re-releases of Super Street Fighter II Turbo and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, on one disk.

The collection, due for release next spring, will cost you a smooth $40. It includes 1942: Joint Strike, Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 (but not the first game in the series, oddly enough), Final Fight: Double Impact, Rocketmen: Axis of Evil complete with its DLC pack, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix and sheep nicking simulator Flock!.

All the featured games are identical to their downloadable versions save the fact they won’t be taking up your valuable hard-drive real estate. Grin’s Bionic Commando Rearmed seems conspicuously missing, and it’s a shame the recent entries in the Megaman series didn’t make the cut, but that’s still a lot of gaming for your $40.
