Dead Rising 1 & 2 Heading to PS4, and PC

Dead Rising Slam

PS4 gamers will finally get to experience the full Dead Rising trilogy.

Dead Rising 4 was one of Microsoft’s big reveals from E3, bringing series favorite Frank West back for another adventure. We learned that it would a timed exclusive only, meaning that a PS4 release was probably in the cards, and now Capcom has confirmed that a re-release of both the original Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2 will be making their way to the PS4 and PC.

“Capcom will be bringing Dead Rising to Xbox One, PS4 and PC. In addition, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record will make their way onto Xbox One and PS4. We will have more news to share soon,” Capcom told Eurogamer in a statement.

We don’t have any word on when the re-releases will launch, how much they will cost, or whether they will be a “HD-remaster” kind of deal or just straight-up ports.

Dead Rising 4 will launch simultaneously for PC and Xbox One on December 6. It will be a “Windows 10” exclusive for 90 days, and an Xbox One console exclusive for a year.
