This article is over 18 years old and may contain outdated information

Turbine has announced a partnership with LETSGAME to distribute, market and operate D&D Online: Stormreach in Korea.

“The Korean market represents an important opportunity for Turbine,” said Jeffrey Anderson, president and CEO of Turbine, Inc. “This agreement signals Turbine’s commitment to a long-term presence in Korea and the continued rollout of DDO as a global franchise.”

D&D Online will mark a first for LETSGAME, who mainly lists casual and hardcore Korean games in their portfolio. Claiming over 3.5 million registered users, they look to expand their user-base with this new offering. “As one of the leading online games operators in Korea, we have a deep understanding of the market,” said Jack Shin, chief executive officer of LETSGAME. “There is enormous demand for more MMO titles in our community and through close cooperation with Turbine, we will deliver a premium title to our customers.”

D&D Online is already available in Japan and features “Asian-themed armor, weapons, and content.” No word yet on pricing or custom content for the Korean market.
