I had no idea that was what exclusive meant. You learn something new every day.
EA Sports’ NBA Live 14, its latest entrant in its pro basketball franchise, will be exclusive to both the Xbox One and the PS4, EA revealed at E3. The series – which had problems with its last installment significant enough that EA cancelled its Live 13 release, choosing instead to “stay focused on making next year’s game great” according to Executive Vice President Andrew Wilson – will be taking its sports title to the two new consoles this fall.
EA’s hoping this title’s physics based BounceTEK – “putting the creativity and control at the core of every move” according to its press release – and its evolving player stats taken from the same data used by all 30 NBA teams, updating within one hour of the actual NBA games’ final buzzer, will tempt players to take its Live 14 to their hearts.
