Direct2Drive has announced that id’s new team-based FPS Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is now available for download.
“Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is a highly-anticipated title that we are excited to add to our expansive library and make immediately available to consumers worldwide,” said Jamie Berger, Senior Vice President of Consumer Products and Technology at IGN, Direct2Drive’s parent company. “Direct2Drive is committed to offering the broadest library of AAA digital titles that can be found anywhere online.”
Released on October 2, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is the latest chapter in the epic Human-Strogg war, allowing up to 24 players to select from five classes from each side of the conflict. Currently available for Windows, versions have also been announced for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as well as Linux and Mac OS X.
Quake Wars: Enemy Territory is available now for $49.95 and is rated T (Teen) for violence.
