Sony Is Giving Away Free Adapters for PSVR on PS5

PlayStation 5 won’t support PSVR without an adapter, but Sony is giving them away for free. Starting today, you can submit a digital form with the serial number of your PSVR processor unit to request an adapter. There is a North American link and a link for other territories. At the time of writing, there appear to be some mixed reports from users about successful submissions. When you try typing in your serial number, it may give an error and advise you to call support. However, one of our staff was able to successfully submit the form without issue.

The Xbox Series X Fridge Is Real and You Have a Chance to Win It

When the Xbox Series X was announced, many joked that it looked like a fridge. Well now, it is a fridge. That’s right — Microsoft announced a giveaway for an Xbox Series X Fridge, which you can enter by retweeting the post below and using #XSXFridgeSweeps. A winner will be selected within seven days of the end of the contest, which is on Nov. 4, 2020. It seems only one fridge will be available, so your chances of winning are slim.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Demo Available Now

As part of the Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase today, we learned that a new Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity demo is available right now. It includes the first chapter of the game and even allows you to carry over your save to the full version when it launches next month. Age of Calamity will serve as a prequel to Breath of the Wild and will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch on Nov. 20. There is plenty of reason to be excited about this game.

First Two No More Heroes Games Shadow Launch on Switch Today

The same Nintendo Direct featured new gameplay for the upcoming No More Heroes III, which is set for launch sometime in 2021. Aside from that, the first two games, No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, were announced and released today for Nintendo Switch. Each serves as a remaster of its Wii counterpart and costs $19.99 ($17.99 if you buy them within the next 17 days).

November 2020 PS Plus Games Include Shadow of War, Hollow Knight, and Bugsnax

Many were wondering how PlayStation 5 would integrate PS Plus, and it seems now we have a clearer answer. Today, Sony announced November 2020’s PS Plus lineup, which is one of the best lists we’ve seen in a while. Starting on Nov. 3, subscribers will gain access to Middle-earth: Shadow of War and Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition — both fantastic games in their own right, available till Nov. 30. The kicker is that Bugsnax, a game that was announced as a launch title, will also be available at no additional cost for PS Plus members on Nov. 12 — alongside the launch of the PS5. It seems possible we may be getting free PS5 games each month, as evidenced by the news of Destruction AllStars coming to the service in February 2021. In any case, Bugsnax will be available on PS Plus until Jan. 4, 2021.
