EA announced today that Medal of Honor Airborne will be scored by none other than Michael Giacchino.

The award-winning composer of television’s Lost and Alias, not to mention films such as MI: III, The Incredibles and Ratatouille, is excited to be working on “a game that tells such an epic, honest story.” He went on to say, “The Medal of Honor Airborne team is a very talented group of people and working with them on creating music to fit their innovative game was a true highlight for me.”

Michael Giacchino’s score will accompany players as they air drop their troops into combat and land anywhere on an open battlefield. Medal of Honor Airborne is scheduled for an August 28 release in the U.S., for the Xbox 360.
