Our sister company TAP just released The Settlers: Mini, a multiplayer world-building game based on the popular The Settlers franchise.
In the game, you start a family and then organize with people in your geographic area to form towns, to which you can contribute in a number of ways, like sending members of your family to gather resources or construct buildings. Families can join and leave the town as they wish, and even elect another player (or themselves) to become mayor and direct the town’s production. Depending on how well each town does in terms of population, taxation, happiness and so on determines its rank on the the leaderboard. Also on the leaderboard are individual player stats in terms of a family’s success. Ultimately, it’s a game about contribution to the common good and an interesting look at how groups of people can contribute to a community’s wellbeing.
