GamePro reveals Rock Band release date, new Nirvana music and virtual venues.
In the latest GamePro magazine, news on the upcoming music title Rock Band is announced in a three page feature story. Nirvana will be joining The Who and Metallica, two bands that will already be contributing full CD soundtracks for playing in the game, with its early-90s classic record “Nevermind” available as a downloadable album. Plans for new available album every week are still on track, and new bands are constantly being signed to provide those tracks.
Musicians and their bands will rock in 41 unique legendary locales, including Amsterdam, Berlin, Boston, Chicago, London, Los Angeles, Moscow, New York, Paris, Seattle, San Francisco, Sydney and Tokyo. Pack your bags and grab the groupies; Rock Band releases on November 6, a week after Guitar Hero 3.
