When players strike out to mine Adamantite in Hytale, they have officially reached the late-game stage of what is available in early access. While it is very likely more ores will be added at a future date, at this time, Adamantite is the second-best ore available, and it is critical for going on to find Mithril.

Adamantite is both rare and extremely difficult to reach in Hytale. It is locked behind a biome that is more dangerous than the previously explored locations, and players will need to build an outpost, have access to transporters, and be sure they have everything they need to battle truly evil monsters.

- Obtaining Adamantite requires a Cobalt pickaxe or better.

- Adamantite is required for locating Mithril.

How to get Adamantite ore and Adamantite ingots in Hytale
Adamantite can be mined in Hytale by reaching the Devastated Lands. Unlike previous rare materials like Voidhearts or Cobalt ore, Adamantite is locked behind both progression and location. Before setting out to obtain Adamantite, you will want to craft a Transporter, as this will allow you to easily return to your base. It will also allow you to return to the locations where you have found Adamantite ore, as it is likely far from any strongholds you have already built.
Like Cobalt, Adamantite is a surface ore. Once you are in the Devastated Lands, you will need to look at any stone faces for red-orange protrusions. Mine these to obtain the Adamantite in Hytale. You will then need to bring them to a furnace and smelt them to obtain Adamantite ingots.
Throughout the map, you will locate small clusters of this ore, but we recommend finding the Cinder Wastes for the best yields. The ore can also be found in chests and looted from dungeons in the area, but you will need to fight off enemies to access these.
How to use Adamantite ore and Adamantite ingots in Hytale
Before you can begin crafting with Adamantite, you will need to upgrade all your workbenches for armor, tools, and weapons to Level 3. This will cost a variety of uncommon and rare materials. Most notable of these are Cobalt and Thorium Ingots, Voidhearts, Shadoweave Scraps, and Sturdy Chiton. Once you have upgraded your workspaces, you can begin making Adamantite armor, tools, and weapons in Hytale.
- Adamantite Helm – 15 Adamantite Ingots, 5 Heavy Leather, 4 Cindercloth Scraps
- Adamantite Cuirass – 28 Adamantite Ingots, 8 Heavy Leather, 7 Cindercloth Scraps
- Adamantite Gauntlets – 12 Adamantite Ingots, 4 Heavy Leather, 3 Cindercloth Scraps

- Adamantite Hatchet – 6 Adamantite Ingots, 3 Heavy Leather, 4 Cindercloth Scraps
- Adamantite Pickaxe – 8 Adamantite, 3 Heavy Leather, 4 Cindercloth Scraps
Once you have upgraded everything, it will be time to embark on the journey to obtain Mithril. We recommend that you have the best weapons possible built and stored in your inventory at this time. It is also important to have a good outpost with plenty of resources that you can easily travel to. Keep a Teleporter on you at all times in case you need to jump back to your house quickly.
The enemies that you will face after mining Adamentite ore in Hytale will be more difficult than anything you faced before this point. Once you have obtained Mithril, you will be an unstoppable force when looting and building, but the key to unlocking the best items in the game is ensuring your Adamantite collection is primed and ready to go.
