John Carpenter’s Halloween DLC Coming to Dead by Daylight Today

You can find out exactly what it’s like to be Michael Myers in the new Dead by Daylight DLC.

Halloween season is here, and that means lots of things, like dressing up in a cool costume, eating too much candy, watching horror movies, and of course, playing horror games. The newest DLC for asymmetrical multiplayer horror title Dead by Daylight combines both movies and games by adding content from John Carpenter’s Halloween.

If you haven’t played Dead by Daylight, it challenges four players to escape from a fifth player, who’s cast in the role of horror movie villain, much like Michael Myers. With the new DLC, that player will actually be able to play as Myers himself.

There’s a new character for survivors to play as well: Laurie Strode, the iconic character played by Jamie Lee Curtis in the movie. Also included in the DLC is a new map based on Haddonfield, Illinois, the suburb where the film takes place.

You can get all the info on the DLC over on the official Dead by Daylight website. The DLC will set you back $6.99 on Steam (currently on sale for 10% off, bringing the price down to $6.29), and it’s available now.
