Jurassic World‘s staff and studio have passed on their box office “record” to The Force Awakens with a classy Tweet.
Earlier, we reported that The Force Awakens had shattered Jurassic World‘s domestic box office record, but came just a little shy of breaking it’s $524 million international record. However, now the final numbers have come in and The Force Awakens has official brought in $529 million internationally, breaking both of Jurassic World‘s records. In recognition, Jurassic World producer Frank Marshall took to Twitter with this classy little nod to the new champion of the box office:
